DELTA PERSONALIZED LICENSE PLATES

One of the foundation’s on-going fundraising ventures is the Delta personalized license plate.  It is an opportunity offered by the State of Illinois through the Pan-Hellenic Trust Fund for the state to issue a license plate honoring Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. The symbol displayed on the license plates is the Delta Crest along with four numeric and/or alpha characters

License plates are purchased through the Secretary of State of Illinois. 

Delta Vanity License Plates can also be Personalized.

This fund assists African- American fraternities and sororities across the state support various activities benefiting children, adults as well as educational and civic events. The purchase and/or renewal of each set of plates will result in a $25.00 deposit into the fund.

JAZZ IN THE PARK

This is a fundraising event in which the net proceeds are shared amongst the participating Southland Cook County charitable organizations for the purpose of supporting community projects.

The musical line up for the event included performances by jazz guitarist Nick Colionne, Prairie State College Jazz Ensemble dedicated to preserving, promoting and expanding the rich cultural and musical heritage of the Jewish and African diasporas and the award winning singer-actress Ava Logan.

EBONY FASHION FAIR

The Premier Ebony Fashion Fair has been a major scholarship and community benefit project which is co-sponsored by the Foundation.  Funds raised are used to fund scholarships for high school graduates, pursuing a college education and for donations to many public service community organizations in the Southland area. The Foundation has supported this endeavor through fundraising,  administrative services and volunteers.
